Verdict

Mark Johnston has won two of the three previous runnings but Charles Kingsley has a tough task burdened with top weight on today’s going as he drops back down in trip. Frontispiece won over a longer distance at Newbury last time but this is tougher while Severance has something to prove on heavy ground as does DUBAI TRADITION. But the latter had looked progressive when landing a double before failing to give his running in a tougher contest here last time and the Godolphin colt gets a speculative vote to return to form. Unit of Assessment remains 5lb higher than when winning over track and trip in June and Autumn War is fitted with blinkers for the first time.
