A competitive finale to round off the card and WORLD TIME is selected to win it with Red Merlin and Fearless Warrior appearing to be the main threats. A winner at Yarmouth on his penultimate start, World Time did not look the most straight-forward last time at Windsor when looking rather reluctant when first coming under pressure before staying on well towards the end of the race. One suspects had he decided to travel with more zest he could well have one that race. It may be early days to be overly critical of the horse and given his lightly raced profile he could be well handicapped off 73. Red Merlin scored in soft ground on his penultimate start before finishing second last time at this venue. He continues to race consistently while Fearless Warrior has shot up in the weights and could now be in the grip of the handicapper. Lush was stepped up to twelve furlongs for the first time recently when first time cheekpieces were applied. They are now removed but she looks exposed and World Time is the selection to win what hopefully will be the lucky last.
