Verdict
A typical race of it's kind in which TAGULA NIGHT deserves to head the market and go close following sound performances on his last three starts. He shouldn't be inconvenienced by the step up in trip, any further rain will suit and his apprentice is good value for his 5lb claim although the gelding does have to prove himself on this track. Sutton Veny and Rocker deserve places on the short-list, Barons Spy won well at Bath while Speak The Truth is fairly handicapped and a visor may eke out a pound or two of improvement . The blinkered Perfect Flight, Macdillon and Victorian Bounty haven't won for some time but are too well handicapped to ignore whilst Desert Icon may not be the easiest of rides but he's shown on his last two starts that he has the ability to pick up a race or two from his current mark.
