      Verdict

      Apprentice title-chasing Martin Lane can edge closer to the championship with a win on WEAPON OF CHOICE. David Simock's runner only found the unbeaten in three runs Vanguard Dream too good on debut and that run easily sets the standard. Flodden has earned a rating of 75 and if running up to that should go close, however, he hasn't looked like winning so far in his career. Hidden Valley looks the most promising of the newcomers with some interesting bloodlines but he'll have to be above average to beat Weapon Of Choice.
