      Verdict

      KING VEGA, highly tried so far, ran a cracker in a Group 3 at Salisbury after a break and will be a very short price to open his account on his first run in novice company. Almaan showed ability on his debut at Yarmouth but that was more than a year ago while Danville hasn’t raced since a well-beaten sixth at Newbury in April.
