      Verdict

Fabulist drops back down in trip after placing over 1m2f when odds-on at Newbury though never troubled the winner. Clarion and Society Guest were not beaten far on their debuts at Newmarket and Windsor respectively with the former preferred representing Sir Michael Stoute’s in-form yard. But a chance is taken on BE MORE as she was doing her best work at the finish over 7f at Wetherby on her reappearance and was beaten only a neck. Andrew Balding’s filly gets the vote with this extra furlong sure to suit. Chamomile is a sister to a winner but has no easy task debuting in this company.
