A very tricky handicap and Glencalvie is just given the vote ahead of Don't Panic and Titan Triumph. John Akehurst's top-weight comes here in good form having battled on well to beat Cnoc May at Windsor. The handicapper has been fair with only a three pound rise, giving him a good chance to land the double. Don't Panic is going the right way and there was lot to like about his recent run behind the progressive Shevchenko in a better race at Sandown. There could be more to come from this one and he rates a big danger. Titan Triumph was a comfortable winner over the sevn furlong trip here last time out and should go close if staying the extra distance. Spriggan was also successful last time out and may prove best of the others, but Glencalvie displayed tremendous courage last time out and can go in again.
