Apple Scruffs showed a glimpse of promise over track and trip on her debut while Top Hatter may improve past the more exposed Princess Holly. But all three of the newcomers are of interest with Kachess related to three winners and Waqt, a brother to a Group 3 winner and half-brother to four other winners, also likely to go well. However, the filly APAMURRA is a half-sister to former stablemate and 5f winner Peterkin and she gets the nod given Mark Johnston’s good strike-rate at this venue.
