Turgenev was no match for Duke Of Hazzard in Listed company at Newmarket last time and was beaten in the Britannia handicap at Ascot by BIOMETRIC before that. The latter still ran green on that occasion but won a shade cosily in the end and is well worth a try at this higher level. Duke Of Hazzard also beat Momkin at HQ and can figure again while Art Du Val is progressing well and won a Listed contest in France in June. Dual novice winner Turjomaan is another on the upgrade and preferred to stablemate Fifth Position but the Ballydoyle colt Old Glory was beaten in a Listed event at the Curragh last time. King Ottokar drops down in trip after placing over 1m2f in a Group 3 at Ascot and I Could Do Better and Irish Trilogy have plenty to find on these terms.
