      Verdict

      The Haggas yard sent out the last winner of this and LILAC ROAD looks set for more success this year having returned to action with victory in a conditions' race at Kempton. She takes on older horses today but should have the edge over the returning Maamora. The latter landed a Group 3 at Sandown in August while Agincourt ended last year out of form but went close in a Group 2 at Ascot earlier in the summer and has undergone wind surgery since. Amniarix and Pholas are upped in class while Illykato attempts a mile for the first time.
