Verdict

There has to be a doubt about First Figaro after a poor run at Punchestown in April. A winner at this fixture last year and an excellent fifth in the Cheltenham Festival Bumper, he was soon treading water that day and there must have been something wrong. There are no such problems with AN CAISTEAL NUADH after a very impressive opener at Limerick 10 days ago and he looks the safest option. Licklighter ran well over hurdles last month before a comfortable victory in a Killarney bumper so he can go well while Mountain Rock battled on strongly to score on that same track and has Jamie Codd on board. The Birdie Crowe beat a huge field at Punchestown in May but Jessica Harrington's mare looks a very nice staying prospect.
