Westerner Point was in brilliant form over fences and hurdles last season and though his better form was over the bigger obstacles he can race from a 20lb lower mark here and if ready after a break would take the world of beating. However, he's taking on in-form and race-fit rivals and J P McManus looks to hold the key with Mon Lino and PERSISTENT. Paul Nolan puts up a promising claimer on board the former, who showed real battling qualities to score over this trip at Killarney, but Barry Geraghty has the pick of the owner's entries and has gone for Joseph O'Brien's charge. Still only four, he's tackling a much longer trip than when completing a double at Tipperary and on this track but connections must be confident of him staying the extra. Turfmans Daughter hasn't been seen since landing a Limerick maiden in April but starts out in handicaps on a fair mark but Lizzies Champ is 10lb higher than his victory at Killarney.
