In depth

Verdict

Cavite Beta is proving to be a better chaser than hurdler and comfortably beat Il Fenomeno at Killarney before finding He's Our Man too good at Sligo. Pumbaa made a spectacular start over fences at Tramore when making all and slamming a field of beginners. He's capable of much better and looks certain to be difficult to beat though UN BEAU ROMAN looks the one to be on. Willie Mullins' charge would have made a successful debut over fences but for falling at the last at Killarney then easily landed the odds at Tramore. He found Ted Veale too strong at Roscommon but the winner is very useful and he can get back to winning ways. Mister Hotelier has gradually improved over fences and looks a nice prospect though probably over further.
