Verdict

Implement was handed a mark of 78 after giving King Of Leinster 7lb and a half-length beating over an extended 7f on soft ground at Roscommon. Ken Condon's charge had a bit in hand and, with further progress likely, looks well enough treated. Escamillo landed a heavy-ground maiden at Navan last October by eight lengths and began this campaign on a mark of 96 but he's shown little and is down to 85 here. Chiavari, a winner on ground with some give in France, ran very well on testing going at Listowel last week and any further rain would aid her cause. She has the beating of Vocal Music on that run but Onlyhuman is another who will enjoy the conditions having run well in two soft-ground handicaps in the spring. Tony The Gent has won around here from a higher mark but DREAM WALKER (NAP) is the class act of the race having won a major handicap at the Festival here last year and run very well in two similar races this time around so he gets the vote.
