In depth

Verdict

Last season's Coral Cup winner DIAMOND KING makes his debut over fences and his pedigree suggests he should be suited. He hasn't had too much racing for his age and should take this before going on to better things. Archive is another having his first start over the bigger obstacles and though he became a bit disappointing over hurdles he has always had the look of a chaser. Lucky Pat won three of his six starts over timber and though beaten a very long way into second by Listen Dear on his chasing bow at Ballinrobe the winner looks a very smart prospect. Kilcarry Bridge has had 15 starts over fences without winning but has run some decent races and should win a handicap before long.
