This has been run six times and Dermot Weld has won four of them. SUPERNOVAE, a daughter of Dalakhani out of the brilliant Sun Chariot and USA Grade 1 winner Dress To Thrill, will have had this as her target since a promising introduction over 1m2f at Fairyhouse in June where she was going on at the finish. She should have made enough progress to se off Aegean Sky, who produced a fine effort when runner-up to Teofolina at Tipperary with the odds-on Purple and today's rival Mont Blanc behind. Purple is trained by Aidan O'Brien who is represented by Hasten, who hasn't been seen since October but has a magnificent pedigree and will be much more at home over today's trip.
