The versatile STRATUM hasn't been at his best in two starts this year but he's performed with credit in all of the top staying races in the past and should now be spot on. Stablemate Mt Leinster, who won a maiden on the Flat here in 2020, has been chasing since 2021 and hasn't run since January. Another from the yard, M C Muldoon, had some very smart form back in 2021 and though not seen since a beaten favourite in the Cesarewitch that year could start making up for lost time. Dawn Rising found 2m5f to his liking at Ascot but a penalty makes this tougher. Shanroe has plenty of winning form and stays the trip well.
