Baresi has suddenly found his form and completed a double at Cork with the easiest of victories. That was back in May and the break should have done him good so he's one to keep a close eye on. Heaney won a Downpatrick maiden in the style of an improver but this is much tougher and King Vuvuzela was pulled up on his only start over this trip. Bondage won five times on the Flat but hasn't done quite so well over hurdles so Dunroe Boy could be the one to bustle up the selection. John Carr's charge scored over the trip at Bellewstown early last month before running over fences at Killarney. He's only 4lb higher for that victory over timber and his young rider can claim most of that. Excellent As Usual is suited by a fast pace and stays well so there's plenty in his favour while Our Eric bounced back to form over this trip at Roscommon.
