Dante's Battle returned to winning ways back over hurdles at Wetherby last week but recent form over fences is moderate at best and preference is for Knight Of Silver, who gets the verdict over Gipsy Cricketer. The last mentioned has run well in a point-to-point since disappointing when last seen under rules at Cheltenham and has to be respected. Make It Easy, who finished third at Huntingdon on Thursday, has been given a chance by the handicapper, while Wot No Cash has claims on his best. Top weight Andaleer and River Amora at the other end of the handicap are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Knight Of Silver. Jimmy Frost's gelding reverted to hurdles to regain the winning thread at Newton Abbot earlier this month but is unexposed over fences and is feasibly well treated for his debut in a handicap. Knight Of Silver gets the vote.
