VEXILLUM was having only his second start over fences and returning from a long break when a very good third at Wincanton and the three-times hurdles winner can get off the mark over the bigger obstacles. Sylvan Legend has put some very poor performances behind him recently and his close second to Stormbay Bomber at Southwell would give him an outstanding chance though that was only five days ago. Triggywinkle went up 9lb for a comprehensive victory at Newton Abbot and ran poorly when strongly fancied to follow up at Worcester.
