Question marks abound. Course regular and four-time winner here, Venetian Lad, looks up against it off this mark, likewise Sound Stage, whilst Rossmore Lad doesn't seem to be the force he once was. Crannaghmore Boy was much better last time but is not certain to repeat that level and there are doubts about the consistent Upton Mead at this trip. All of which leaves FULL OF JOY, hardly the most reliable of conveyances himself. However, he has dropped to what looks a decent mark, has improved, albeit gradually, in each of four starts this year and the O'Neill stable is enjoying a useful time with runners this spring. He's a hopeful choice in an unappetising contest.
