In depth

Verdict

A competitive-looking handicap though there is certain to be plenty of interest in last month's easy Plumpton winner Disputed, though the second did nothing for the form next time and he's 9lb higher. BANYU (NAP) has a penalty for his victory at Perth nine days ago and but he showed there and at Taunton earlier that good ground suits and he may well follow up. Maestro Royal looked to be on the way back here last month when second off this mark while Gores Island ran well reverting to hurdles at Taunton, though may need further. Chepstow winner Hill Fort may find the ground too quick while Good of Luck returns from a break and Heath Hunter usually finds at least one too good.
