In depth

Verdict

Peace Prevails has won five times on the Flat and remains unexposed over hurdles. Tamaris has been gelded since placed twice in the autumn while Sameer has shown a decent level of form, though failed to get competitive last time at Newbury when finishing six lengths behind BASHFUL BOY (NAP). The latter was having a first run in a handicap that day and won a novice event here on good ground last September. First Quest was 3lb higher when fourth at Plumpton in November but has run poorly on the all-weather since.
