WISH IN A WELL returned the wide-margin winner of an amateur riders’ chase at Fakenham on New Year’s Day. He should go close again given today’s opposition are all struggling for form. Cucklington and Slidecheck looked to have decent claims on their respective latest starts but both disappointed though the former was making his chasing debut. High Aspirations is back on a winning mark and drops down a grade while Tenant Farmer was placed over track and trip in November but has been well beaten in both starts since.
