Verdict
GORING TWO gets the vote here as not only does he arrive in good heart after three solid efforts, but is the only member of the quintet proven on the heavy ground. He was a fair third at Plumpton under such conditions on his penultimate outing, which was followed up with a decent runner-up effort at the same venue. He looks the safest option although Wosayu does evoke some interest. He seems sure to develop into a far better chaser than hurdler and didn't do at all badly on his chasing bow when third in a Plumpton handicap behind She's Humble. Improvement should be forthcoming whilst Tecktal cannot be ruled out off bottomweight. Pat Phelan has his team on the level in good nick at present and Tecktal has been consistent in recent outings. He's only had the one run over fences too, so is another from whom it is safe to expect improvement.
