SPIRIT OSCAR had just over 3l to spare over Comedinewithme on very heavy ground at Lingfield and though the runner-up will be 7lb better off and should make a race of it the feeling is that the winner will confirm the form. Rising Teal had hinted at ability in bumpers and ran well behind Dardanella over hurdles at Towcester. He's also engaged to run at Towcester today. When In Roam easily landed a bumper at Bangor in August but couldn't match that form on a return visit in October. Chilworth Screamer isn't easy to catch right but is perfectly capable of winning this at his best and his young rider's claim is a bonus.
