Verdict

Wild Ground won for the first time in four years when popping-up over C&D at 20/1 last time. Raised 13lb for that success, she may struggle to follow-up and the vote goes to another recent winner in BEWARE CHALK PIT. He reversed form with previous double winner Dushy Valley at Plumpton earlier this month and can go in again with a similar effort. It's hard to make a serious case for any of the remainder as Destined For Fame was still tailed off when third behind Wild Ground here recently and last year's winner Miss Fleur has failed to figure in three subsequent starts.
