Zamperini opened his account over hurdles with a maiden success at Plumpton a fortnight ago and looks the only threat to TOMORROW MYSTERY. The latter had placed in all four previous starts over timber before winning a handicap at Kempton earlier this month and Paul Nicholl’s mare looks the one to beat in this. Ace Combat was still beaten a distance when third at Kempton last month after some patchy jumping while Barcalona and Lyn's Secret have shown even less over hurdles so far.

Ace Combat 10-1 (10-7) Chased leaders, under pressure approaching and left in 3rd 2 out, never able to challenge, 3rd of 5, 21l behind Fransham (11-5) at Kempton 2m (4) gf in Apr.
