In depth

Verdict

A wind operation worked the oracle for GENERAL MEDRANO last time and he won with any amount in hand over track and trip. Emma Lavelle’s charge is taken to shrug off a penalty despite conceding plenty of weight to Kansas Du Berlais. A beaten favourite in all three starts now, the latter went close at Lingfield last time. Red Windsor failed to figure carrying a penalty for an earlier win over a longer trip here while Plumpton runner-up Goodwin Racing also drops down in trip.
