Kilcrea Vale won at Ludlow before finishing second to a decent sort at Market Rasen and will be fancied to get back on track here. But AS DE MEE has the stand-out form as he beat a subsequent Grade 1 winner over a longer trip here in the autumn and jumped superbly when landing the Grand Sefton over the Grand National fences in December. He was less impressive when pulled up at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day but has been given plenty of time to recover. Rock Gone beat a subsequent winner at Wetherby last month but has more on his plate here and Doncaster second Winner Massagot could also be found wanting.
