    Verdict

Bamboleo has the best form in the book so far with a placed effort at Plumpton, though it wouldn't take much for the likes of Two Oscars and Grace And Fortune to improve past him. French bumper winner Utopian is hard to assess on his first start for Nick Gifford and point-to-point winner Whatsupjack makes his debut under Rules. Royal Announcement is worth noting on his first start, however, though a chance is taken on another newcomer in LOMBARD LIGHT. He's a half-brother to bumper and hurdles winner Askanna and may be good enough at the first time of asking.
