      Verdict

A competitive handicap hurdle rounds off the card and the leading lights look to be Gunship, Lady Maranzi and Zeloso and the vote is given to Gunship. The selection showed improved form last time out when a good second behind Sandmartin at Exeter. He looks to be going the right way and with ground conditions in his favour he is taken to score. Lady Maranzi rates the main danger as she is another with proven ability on this ground and she did win well last time when beating Rockys Girl at Towcester. However, she does have a penalty for that success and as she is not the most consistent we are happy to take her on. Zeloso is a fair sort and is another with form on this ground. He goes well for today¿s pilot and is not without a chance but he lacks the scope of our selection and for that reason he is narrowly passed over. Hidden Storm is game and consistent but has a little to find to get competitive and for the winner we will return to Gunship.
