Verdict

The market will tell us all that we need to know and Cilrhiwviv is our pick ahead of Broadcasting and Silver Story. Cilrhiwviv shaped well for a long way at Wetherby before inexperience just began to take its toll. A front-runner, there is every chance that he will get his own way in a contest traditionally staged at a slow pace. Broadcasting is nicely bred. A cheap purchase, he is related to plenty of Irish scorers. Silver Story comes from a yard that have already sent out winners this summer. The booking of Richard Johnson is an obvious plus. Avec Moi Ce Soir has had two experiences thus far albeit on a soft surface. Watching Football is likely to be fairly precocious if his breeding is any guide. His half-brother is none other than six furlong scorer, Hits Only Money. Rateable Value is a son of fast improving sire, Classic Cliche. His debut suggested that he will be seen to better effect with time. Cilrhiwviv is notable as a commentator's nightmare but he could be that of the bookies' come the finale.
