Verdict
Sussex Ranger and Vive Le Roi don’t look good enough in the company while though Vision Des Flos always seems to run his race he invariably comes up short. Lil Rockerfeller won this back in 2016 but was only second behind Old Guard last year. The latter was beaten by IF THE CAP FITS in this grade at Ascot in November but is 6lb better off for a length-and-a-half. Harry Fry’s charge idled when hitting the front that day, however, and may be capable of confirming the form. Ballymoy won twice over this trip before failing to stay 3m at Sandown earlier this month so shouldn’t be ignored.
