A busy race for punters and of a shortlist that contains Best Actor, Noble Ben and Bubbling Under; the nomination is Best Actor. Carl Llewellyn's charge was not disgraced around here last time out and shaped as if a step up in trip may suit. Granted nominal improvement, he has to be the percentage call. Noble Ben is from a good family and with Brendan Powell's team in such good form at the moment, if the raw material is good enough, the handler is more than capable of securing victory with it. Bubbling Under ran encouragingly on debut and more can be anticipated. Emma Lavelle's runners have tended to benefit from their first run and it would be no surprise to see him leave his debut well behind. Call Butterfly makes a debut for Philip Hobbs and on breeding, there is every reason to suggest that he should go well over today's trip. Sometime pointer, Mister Knight has shown little under rules and would need to improve in order to be competitive. White Gate would be of interest should the going become tacky. Plenty of future winners and Best Actor is recommended as the tentative selection.
