Verdict

Eden Du Houx was a hot favourite for a maiden at Exeter yesterday and his likely absence could have left the way open for I K BRUNEL (NAP) to make it third-time lucky over timber. After finishing third behind a couple of very smart novices at Cheltenham last December, Olly Murphy’s charge ran in a Grade 2 at Kempton – this looks much easier. One For Dunstan finished second in a point in Ireland in February but looks more of a chasing type, a remark that may also apply to winning pointer Supreme Escape. Josh Moore rides Flat winner Champs Inblue in preference to bumper second In Rem.
