CARRY ON SYDNEY was the subject of a gamble at Kempton earlier this month. He wasn't beaten far and, though a couple of pounds higher, is fancied to recoup losses. Sirop De Menthe got back to winning ways in a lesser grade at Plumpton last month but the handicapper has had his say since while Very Noble has yet to show much improvement for a tumble down the weights. Diamond's Return hasn't travelled over from Ireland solely for the good of his health, however, and his regular rider's 7lb allowance is a plus.
