MISTIFIED is a sporting option in an open heat where Midnight Gold and Easy Dancer could also make their presence felt. Mistified has only ever managed to win one race and hasn't been at his best of late but he did show a little bit more at Wincanton last time and could be on the way back. He makes some appeal as an each-way option as he's regularly placed and the decision to fit him with a visor for the first time may reap dividends. Alpha Juliet is likely to be there or thereabouts again but is another serial loser, as was Spider Boy until the spring. Colwyn Bay merits attention with the booking of Jamie Moore taking the eye whilst Sovereign Spirit is developing into a course specialist but a 10lb rise looks a little stiff. Midnight Gold should come on for a satisfactory reappearance at Southwell and has the form to be a factor as does Easy Dancer if a poor run at Towcester on his latest start can be forgiven. Few have solid claims here but Mistified will hopefully give us a run for our money.
