Gaelic Flight is selected here ahead of Fleetwood Forest and Island Light. Much as Gaelic Flight is six pounds above his Fakenham winning mark, he can build on that plus he can go well fresh so, for us, has to be considered. Fleetwood Forest is four pounds above his Huntingdon win last time but, is clearly one that has ability for all that he is possibly a little fragile. Of the others, Baikal could be given some thought based on the best of his Irish promise although he needs to build on a couple of modest runs lately, although he is entitled to have needed his latest start, Can Can Flyer needs to build on his selling win, Island Light ran well from his revised mark last and should be given some thought, Inchcape Rock has bits of form that say he can go well, but he has a 481-absence to defy, and Wee Danny is another that has to defy a revsied mark for winning. Finally, Almizan was behind Burren Legend last time and the blinkers remain off so he may not reverse the form, and the latter needs to find improvement we feel from that narrow race success if he is to feature. All of which retuns is to the selection, which is Gaelic Flight.
