In depth

Verdict

CHARLIE MON is given the chance to build on a first victory over fences at Huntingdon. He’s been raised the obligatory 6lb but Charlie Hammond’s claim is worth more than that. Fort Gabriel is back on a winning mark and only six so probably has more scope than most of these. Thepartysover is 0-23 over fences, however, and probably worth opposing again but Jack Snipe will strip fitter for his third at Stratford and stays well. Venetian Lad has never impressed over this longer trip.
