O'CALLAGHAN STRAND showed improved form to chase home Curragh Dancer over two and a half miles on his latest start and can gain revenge over this longer trip on the revised terms. Dancing Daffodil was back in third on that occasion and also looks as though she will appreciate being stepped up in distance but both she, and the selection, have to prove their effectiveness on a testing surface. Soft ground also counts against Winning Show who has yet to prove as effective under these conditions but it will be worth keeping an eye on Whitcombe Spirit and Our Little Dreamer in the market to see if there's any confidence behind the lightly raced pair in a race that lacks strength in depth.
