In depth

Verdict

DANBORU (NAP) is hard to assess as he's yet to perform over timber, having been sent straight over fences when trained in Ireland. However, there are plus points to his chance as he stays the trip well, handles soft ground should conditions worsen and has been performing consistently over fences for Tim Vaughan. Dancing In The Sky is also an Irish import and the shrewd Newland team will surely elicit further improvement from the gelding after a solid if unspectacular first run for the yard. Slaine, Lyrical King and Moans Cross have revealed ability and are respected but the one to note in the market is Jonjo O'Neill's gelding, Dontbitedabait, a promising second in an Irish point on his sole start back in January last year but not seen since.
