Captain Bellamy won four times on the Fibresand but it remains to be seen how he'll take to hurdles, though the booking of the champ is a positive sign. Cloudy Start also won several times on the Flat but has his first start for Violet Jordan and winning pointer Bellosguardo is best watched back over hurdles after a lay-off. PAHENTE was probably a little flattered by his third to Close Touch at Ascot but he was in good form on the Polytrack during the summer and a repeat of that first run over timber would probably suffice here. Breaking Bits was second in Tramore bumper in October and may be best of the rest.
