Dual winning hurdler Billy Blade was making his chasing debut when falling at the fourth last when in contention at Bangor and should be in the shake-up if none the worse. Rough Times didn't run badly on his chasing bow at Worcester and that will have done him good while this trip and fast ground is just what the veteran Bajan Sunshine requires though he has a long absence to overcome. Clu Agus Cail landed a novices' handicap over the C&D a year ago but has shown very little subsequently so this can go to SHROPSHIRELASS, who jumped well enough when runner-up behind Citrus Mark here ten days ago and doesn't have much more to do. The Grey One needs to brush up his jumping but could be thereabouts with a clear round.
