Verdict

With the market leaders disappointing, it may not be wise to take the form of Capdalight's second here last month too literally though he did finish ahead of Tecktal that day. Hereditary can't be ignored, despite having gone up 5lb since finishing second at Plumpton, while Elegant Olive should strip fitter for her run at Huntingdon. SOVEREIGN SPIRIT certainly wasn't winning out of turn over C&D eight days ago, however, and escapes a penalty for that success. With Tom Cannon again reducing his burden, he can confirm that form with third Jessica and add to his tally today.
