BEAUTIFUL VISION is the selection in a valuable seller but Orchard King and Classic Chic will ensure that this is no walkover. The nine year old clearly isn't as purposeful as he once was but he won under similar conditions when trained by Tom Taaffe and this engagement is likely to have been planned for quite some time by Evan Williams. Orchard King won two races in October. The suspicion is that he may just be better with a more genuine surface. Classic Chic was claimed out of Donald McCain's stable following victory at Hereford. He appeared to need every yard of that race though there will be no issues in relation to an aptitude toward soft ground. Tabaran has struggled to get his head infront under both codes and clearly has ideas about the game. Devito will be a big price. He is unfavoured at the weights though invariably runs well at big prices. Isle De Maurice went close on the polytrack at Lingfield while Autueil winner, Reste Beau, makes a first run for David Pipe. Le Corvee has won with give in the ground though probably wants it faster than this afternoon avails. Beautiful Vision appears the best option.
