Verdict

Last year's winner, Miss Lilly Lewis, only had one run subsequently and finished well beaten. She may struggle to stage a repeat under a penalty as Hazel Brook has already been placed at Southwell and Newton Abbot, while Ovilia showed promise at Worcester last month. Newcomer Beatrix Kiddo is worth a second glance in the betting as she's a half-sister to smart hurdler Raya Star but we might take a chance on CENTORIA. She's from the same family as Centasia, who won a bumper over this trip last year before running well in Listed events at Sandown and Aintree, so may have more speed than most of her rivals.
