In depth

Verdict

Hi Note has been a credit to connections down the years but soft going doesn't bring out the best in Sheena West's mare. Midnight Belle handles the surface, however, and will be happier back over hurdles while Royal Moll took on Faugheen in a Grade 3 on her last start in Ireland and is lightly raced. Madame De Guise ran well behind Springinherstep over 2m at Stratford last month and trip and conditions here will be more in her favour but RED FOUR gets the nod. She's weighted to reverse Taunton running in March with Flute Bowl and proved her well-being when winning by nine lengths on the Flat at Windsor last month.
