Verdict
Thirtyfourstitches hasn’t been beaten far in a couple of outings since winning at Newton Abbot in July while Fifty Ball was beaten under a length here in May and represents last year’s winning stable. Aucunrisque has a touch of class but also plenty of weight on his return to action, though Freddie Gordon’s claim will help in that respect. Soul Icon won twice here last year in the midst of a five-timer but wasn’t in the best of form in the spring. MR FREEDOM (NAP) did really well in his first season hurdling and rattled up a hat-trick on the Flat over the summer. He is worth sticking with having already won twice on this track.
