In depth

Verdict

Duke Of Bronte was a useful middle-distance performer on the Flat but has been off the track since 2018. Navegaon Gate was beaten a long way here on Boxing Day and was moderate on the level but bumper winner Gamaret found only one too good making his hurdling debut at Exeter and is an almost certain improver, even though that form has yet to be franked. Captain Claude won a bumper at the third attempt at Ffos Las and his in-form yard also run Forward Plan but we’ll give another chance to DREAM IN THE PARK as he was clear of the rest when coming up against a useful novice at Plumpton last month.
